HR Meet to be held on March 21

KATHMANDU:

The seventh edition of HR Meet — a national conference on human resource management — is going to be held on third week of March.

The HR Meet 2014 with a theme of ‘Evolving Role of HR’ will take place on March 21. The event, organised by Growth Sellers, will see participation of more than 200 human resource professionals from financial institutions, non-government organisations, international non-government organisations, government organisations and corporate houses.

“The main objective of the event is to update the participants about worldwide activities in HR arena, generate new ideas and create a common platform to share HR issues,” informed chairman of Growth Seller, Mohan Ojha, during the press meet organised today.

The event aims at spreading awareness about human resources practices, providing a common platform to learn, experience and share and to provide networking opportunities.

The conference will see national and international speakers such as motivational speaker Abha Maryada Banaerjee; author of ‘Emotional Intelligence: Myth or Reality?’ Dr Mousami Sengupata, Dr Nilanjan Sengupta, professor of HR Management at SDMID Mysore and executive director of Deurali Janta Pharmaceutials Dr Hari Bhakta Sharma.

The winner of HR Manager of the Year award will also be announced at the event, which is sponsored by ETS TOEIC — the employee testing tool — and Tranquillity Spa.
