How was the performance of the most controversial hydropower Butwal Power Company in the fourth quarter?

The controversial hydropower company Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) has showed slight increase in net profit by 6.65% percent in the fourth quarter of the FY 2074/75.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has increased to Rs 71.24 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 66.80 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.

BPCL has made regular income from power sales of Rs 66.72 crore by the end of the forth quarter up from Rs 66.28 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 2.21 arba with Rs 4.46 arba in reserve fund.

Its third quarter earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs 32.11, net worth per share is at Rs 301.34 and P/E ratio at 14.23 times.
