Housing investigation commission-2014 sets up its office
KATHMANDU, July 11: The Housing Investigation Commission-2014 set up its office on Friday.
The commission was constituted on May 16 by the government. The commission has set up the office at Babarmahal, Kathmandu and has started its official tasks from today, said Thamba Raj Shrestha, secretary at the commission.
Kumar Prasad Lohani is the convenor and Hemanta Gyawali and Balkrishna Shrestha the members of the commission.
The commission is tasked with studying the problems seen in the housing and the real estate sector and recommend ways of resolving the problems.
