Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited (TRH) has published its unaudited report of First Quarter (Q1) of FY 2077/2078 along with Fourth quarter (Q4) of FY 2076/2077. The company reported a net loss of Rs. 7.89 crores in first quarter whereas Net Profit of Rs. 16.56 crores in Q4 of FY 2076/2077.
The company’s paid-up capital stood at Rs. 1.88 Arba and reserve and surplus of Rs. 38.44 crores in this quarter. The company reported its reserve of Rs. 46.34 crores in Q4 of FY 2076/2077.
Due to lockdown for an extended period of time in the nation, the tourism industry was hit the most which is why the company’s revenue declined sharply to just Rs. 1.00 Lakhs. Also, the revenue in Q4 of FY 2076/2077 declined by 39.28% to Rs. 85.26 crores.
The company in this distressed time has shown that it had a strong balance sheet with enough asset to pay for its liabilities. Its current ratio stood at 1.76 times which is slightly higher than the acceptable ratio of 1.5 times.
The company reported a net worth per share of Rs. 120.38.
