Himalayan Bank organizes free eye camp and blood donation events amid its 30th anniversary
Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL), on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has organized free eye check-up camp at Machhapuchchhre Health Post located at Machhapuchchhre Municipality-01, Tushe, Kaski in co-ordination with Netradham Foundation and blood donation program in co-ordination with Himalayan Bank Employees Union (HB Union), at its Head Office, Kamaladi.
The free eye check-up camp was organized by the team led by Dr. Sanyam Bajimaya, co-ordinated by Netradham Foundation with the financial assistance of HBL from January 18, 2023 to January 20, 2023. More than 390 people visited the three days camp and 26 people with cataract and glaucoma problem got their eye surgery done free of cost at eye camp organized at Machhapuchchhre Municipality.
Similarly, following the matra “Donate Blood, Save Life”, the Bank in co-ordination with the bank’s Employees Union organized a blood donation program on January 21, Saturday, 2023 at the bank’s Head Office, Kamaladi. More than 200 staffs within and outside valley were present in the program and around 100 of them donated blood.
