Himalayan Bank Joins Fonepay Network to Boost Digital Payments in Nepal

Fonepay Payment Service Limited has onboarded Himalayan Bank Limited into its payment network, marking a major step in strengthening Nepal’s digital payment ecosystem. Established in 1993, Himalayan Bank is one of the country’s leading private banks, known for its innovation and strong customer trust.

Through this partnership, Himalayan Bank customers will soon be able to make seamless QR-based digital payments across Fonepay’s vast network of merchants nationwide. The integration, currently in its technical phase, is expected to accelerate the adoption of cashless transactions and expand access to interoperable, secure payment services.
