Highest Intraday Turnover Ever and Highest Index Closing in History; NEPSE Soaring High With All Its Strength

The NEPSE index gained 48.74 points today and closed at 2,524.00. This is the highest index closing in the history of NEPSE. The index opened at 2,486.79 which is also the intraday low. The market close is the intraday high itself.
17,736,734 shares traded hands via 87,670 transactions. The trading of 202 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 10.44 Arba. This is the highest intraday turnover in the history of NEPSE. While the float index gained 3.06 points and closed at 171.14, the Sensitive index is at 459.32 after gaining 5.3 points.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) has the highest individual scrip turnover of a little over Rs. 53.17 crores. The units of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-2 (SIGS2) traded the most.
More than 30 companies have technically hit the 10% positive circuit today. Meanwhile, Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) lost the most 6.27%.
Nine sectors gained today while three others closed red. While Microfinance gained the most 7.76%, Mutual Funds lost the most 0.31%.
