Higher financial cost lower the gross profit resulting into negative net profit of Panchakanya Mai Hydropower in Q3

Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited (PMHPL) has posted a net loss of Rs. 1.94 Crore in the third quarter of the FY 2076/77.
According to the unaudited financial report published, PMHPL has earned Rs. 28.91 crore as revenue from its operations whereas it was Rs. 26.7 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY2075/76.
The company seems to have been facing a lower liquidity position with a Current Ratio of 0.14x compared to its Previous corresponding quarter of 0.16x.
Being in a nascent phase and a capital-intensive company, it carries a huge amount of debt resulting in higher financial cost which has eaten most of its gross profit.
The share capital of PMHPL stands at Rs. 1.10 Arba while reserve and surplus stands at negative Rs. (16.36) crore.
The EPS of PMHPL stands at negative Rs. 1.77 and net worth per share stood at Rs. 85.12.
