HBL offers support

KATHMANDU:

Relief materials collected by staff members of Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL), as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility, were distributed among flood victims of Nauvatsa VDC in Banke amidst a programme. The bank employees had collected food products worth Rs 250,000 and distributed it among some 219 affected households. Each relief package contained 15kg rice, 2kg flour, 2kg lentils, 1kg salt and half litre oil packet. The packages were distributed to the members of 136 households who were present during the event, while the remaining 89 units of the packages were handed over to the VDC chief.
