H&B opens branch in Bhairahawa

KATHMANDU, AUG 28: 

H&B Development Bank has opened its 29th branch office in Bhairahawa of Rupandehi district. The branch was jointly inaugurated by Shravan Kumar Agarwal, chairman of the bank, and Bishnu Prasad Sharma, president of Siddharthanagar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on Sunday, says a bank statement. The bank has previously opened six branch offices in Kathmandu valley and 22 outside the valley. 

It also has an extension counter in Garuda Bazar of Rautahat. The bank is planning to open one each branch office inside and outside Kathmandu valley. The bank, with a paid-up capital of Rs 897.23 million, collected Rs 7.20 billion in deposits and extended Rs 5.71 billion in loans in the last fiscal year.
