Gulshan Kumar Jha Honored with Sanskriti Sports Award for Outstanding Contribution to Cricket

At Sanskriti International School’s Annual Sports Day, young national cricketer Gulshan Kumar Jha was honored with the Sanskriti Sports Award and a cash prize of NPR 101,000 for his notable contributions to sports. The award was presented by Youth and Sports Minister Bablu Gupta, who praised Jha’s achievements and emphasized the role of such recognition in inspiring disciplined and capable youth.

Special guest Prajwal Oli also lauded the school’s efforts in promoting sports talent. Sanskriti School, in collaboration with the Sports Journalists’ Forum, has a history of recognizing outstanding athletes, including past recipients Santoshi Shrestha, Kushal Malla, and Palesha Govardhan. School Chair Ranjit Acharya reaffirmed the commitment to encouraging talent that elevates Nepal’s identity in the global sports arena.
