Grameen Bikas Laghubitta reports fair growth in profitability and Business volume in Q2; look at the major Highlights

Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GBLBS) published the second-quarter report of FY 2077/2078 with 59.45% increment in Net Profit. As per the report published by the company, the net profit increased to Rs. 17.84 crores as compared to Rs. 11.18 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by 10.11% to Rs. 5.17 Arba which was Rs. 4.70 Arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by 8.31% to 11.18 Arba in this quarter.
The net interest income (core revenue) has increased by 3.75% to Rs. 55.83 crores compared to Rs. 53.81 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs. 98.25 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 77.08 crores which is an increase of 22.59% in this quarter.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs. 36.32. The net worth per share is Rs. 178.46. The company traded at a P/E multiple of 18.09 times.
