Govt working for foreign direct investment: Finance Minister

KATHMANDU, JUNE 19:

Finance Minister Shankar Prasad Koirala has said that the government is making efforts to improve environment in order to bring in foreign direct investment.

Minister Koirala said this at a meet with World Bank Vice-Chairperson for South Asia, Isabel Guerrero, and Regional Vice-Chairperson of the International Finance Corporation, Kerin Jenkeston on Tuesday.

On the occasion, World Bank Vice-Chairperson Isabel expressed happiness over Nepal's enhanced capacity to expend World Bank assistance.

Similarly, National Director of the World Bank Johannes Jutt spoke about the projects run with World Bank assistance in Nepal.
