Government Bolsters National Planning Commission with Four Key Appointments

In a recent Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, the government announced the appointment of four individuals to fill vacant positions within the National Planning Commission. Professor Sangita Singh, Dr. Kushendra Bahadur Mahat, Professor Shivaraj Adhikari, and Dr. Arniko Kumar Pandey have been selected for these roles.
Additionally, Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Government Spokesperson, Rekha Sharma, announced the promotion of Secretary Chudamani Paudel to the esteemed position of Secretary within the Nepal Administrative Service Group. This elevation, set to be formalized through the Gazette, underscores Paudel's dedication and competence in administrative affairs.
Moreover, the Cabinet made significant decisions during the meeting, including the waiver of royalties for a Nepal-South Korea expedition team, a gesture of goodwill marking the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Following the reshuffling of power dynamics and the resignation of previous members, the commission found itself with vacant member positions.
