Gov announces public holiday to mark Census Day
The government has decided to declare a public holiday nationwide on Wednesday to mark National Census Day.
Issuing a notice on Tuesday, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that it has announced a public holiday tomorrow for the celebration of the ongoing population census 2011.
Central Bureau of Statistics, secretariat of the National Planning Commission, is conducting the ongoing 11th census.
The census began in 1911 at ten year intervals in the nation.
