Got Your Cash Dividend from SBI and GMFIL? Here's how to get it

Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI) is distributing 3.47% cash dividend directly to bank accounts of its investors.

The recent AGM of the company endorsed a 9.47% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The company distributed 6% of the paid-up capital as bonus shares and 3.47% as a cash dividend. The cash dividend includes the amount for tax purposes as well. The paid-up capital of the company before dividend distribution was Rs. 8,95,62,05,554.

The same cash dividend is now distributed in bank accounts of investors maintained till the book closure date.

Similarly, Guheswori Merchant Banking and Finance Limited (GMFIL) is also distributing 3.4% cash dividend directly to bank accounts of its investors.

The recent AGM of the company endorsed a 11.4% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The company distributed 8% of the paid-up capital as bonus shares and 3.4% as a cash dividend. The cash dividend includes the amount for tax purposes as well. The paid-up capital of the company before dividend distribution was Rs. 80 crores.

For both the companies, investors who have a Demat account but have not received the cash dividend should authorize their bank details on their Demat account to get the dividend.

Meanwhile, investors who still hold physical shares of the company should dematerialize their shares as early as possible to claim their dividend. Furthermore, if eligible investors had taken a loan against the shares of the companies before the book closure date, they should present a No Objection Letter from their lending institution in order to receive the dividend.
