KATHMANDU, June 8: Understanding the consumers’ needs and constantly innovating to make Tuborg the most liked brand, Gorkha Brewery introduced the new look of Tuborg amidst a gala event here on Friday.

The new Tuborg with the innovative pull-off cap lends the consumers the freedom to enjoy their drink without having to look for a bottle opener. It is also tamper-proof, which makes it impossible to either replicate or contaminate, as per the press statement.

In addition to the redesigned bottle, the new look of Tuborg carries a new tilted front label with visible Tuborg branding. The label is tilted at 62.5 degrees which is widely known as ‘The Tipping Point’. This fact is interesting because 62.5 degrees is the angle when the first drop of liquid leaves the Tuborg bottle.

Tuborg’s new visual identity also showcases a refreshing look to entice consumers in a never-before-seen packaging — a bottle that adds a cool new look to its edgy appearance with an easy to hold grip.

The green bottle is an award winning bottle design at Cannes Lions 2012 Design. The debossed bottle across the label gives a better grip and the embossed Tuborg name at the neck of the bottle makes the design ever prominent and class apart, the company claims.

The new Tuborg look has a more fun tagline — ‘Kholau Tuborg ramera … jaha bhayepani’ which is a call for action to open Tuborg for fun ... wherever you are.

Tuborg was introduced in Nepal by Gorkha Brewery in 1990 and is the first international brand to be launched in the country.
