Goma's new plane to start commercial flights this week

KATHMANDU, Oct 11:
Goma Air has said that it will start flights to Lukla and Jomsom with its new aircraft from next week.
“We have scheduled commercial flights with the newly brought 19-seater LET410 UVP-E20 aircraft from earlly next week after completing necessary civil aviation requirements,” said Manoj Karki, managing director (MD) of Goma Air, organizing a press meet in capital on Saturday.
Goma Air´s new plane LET410 UVP-E20 landed in Kathmandu on Thursday. According to Goma Air officials, this aircraft is new in South Asia. Karki also said that they are taking their aircraft to an air show scheduled to be held in India in February 2015.
“After Goma brought this aircraft, first of its kind in South Asia, it has created interest among other airlines companies in the region,” said MD Karki, adding, “Upon the request of Aircraft Industries of Czech Republic--manufacturer of the aircraft--we are taking this aircraft to an air show in India in February 2015. The aircraft is also to be taken to Bhutan by this year´s end.”
Also speaking at the press meet, Ambassador of Czech Republic to India, CzecMiloslav Stašek, said that the partnership between the Nepali airline and Czech Republic´s manufacturing company will help to boost the economic relationship between Nepal and Czech Republic.
