Golyan Group Supports Martyr’s Daughter Aakriti’s Education Dream
Udayapur’s Chandragadhi resident, Sarkumar Rai, had been working in Kathmandu as a painter with the dream of providing quality education for his daughter, Aakriti, who was studying in Chitwan with her mother, Sunita. His life was cut short during the Gen-Z protests of Bhadra 23–24, 2082 BS, leaving his family’s dreams shattered.
Following his death, the family faced uncertainty over Aakriti’s education until Golyan Group stepped in, announcing full educational support for children of Gen-Z martyrs up to Grade 12. The group currently supports 32 such students, including Aakriti, who recently became the first among them to pass SEE with a 3.40 GPA and has now enrolled in Grade 11 Science with aspirations of becoming a nurse. Her mother expressed gratitude for the support, saying it has given them strength to move forward, while educators praised Aakriti’s discipline and academic potential.
