Golyan Group Organizes Blood Donation Drive on World Blood Donor Day

Member of the House of Representatives Ranju Darshana has emphasized the importance of connecting business activities with social development, stating that corporate earnings should also contribute to societal progress.

She made the remarks during a blood donation program organized by Golyan Group on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. She praised the company for actively engaging in social responsibility initiatives and strengthening its bond with the community through such programs.

MP Darshana also encouraged greater involvement of local communities in social welfare activities, highlighting the importance of blood donation in saving lives during medical emergencies. 

Speaking at the event, Golyan Group Chairman and Managing Director Akshay Golyan said the company, while contributing to the national economy, is now equally focused on social initiatives, including education and health support programs for families of martyrs.

The group is currently providing scholarships and health insurance support to families of martyrs, further strengthening its commitment to structured social responsibility. Other company officials, including Director Shaktikumar Golyan and Head of Corporate Affairs Jyoti Gairhe, also highlighted the urgent need to address blood shortages in Nepal, noting that the donation drive contributes to reducing the national blood deficit. Around 100 participants, including employees, journalists, and community members, took part in the blood donation program.
