Gold to Hit All-Time High Soon; Surged by Rs. 600 Per Tola Today, Silver Follows Suit
The price of gold has gained Rs. 600 per tola today.
According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 103,900 per tola. Yesterday, the rate was maintained at Rs. 103,300 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 103,400 today. In contrast, the rate was maintained yesterday at Rs. 102,800 per tola.
The last all-time high in the Nepalese market was made on 2022-03-09. Fine gold traded at Rs. 1,05,500 that day while Tejabi gold traded at Rs.105,000 per tola.
On the sideline, silver has gained Rs. 10 per tola. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,390 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,380 per tola.
The current rate of gold in the international market has reached USD $1,876.20 while silver is being traded at $23.98 per ounce.
