Gold Spikes Up by Rs 800 Per Tola Today to Trade at Rs. 101,200; Silver Up by Rs 25

The price of gold has gained Rs. 800 per tola today.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 101,200 per tola. Yesterday, the rate was maintained at Rs. 100,400 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 100,700 today. In contrast, the rate was maintained yesterday at Rs. 99,900 per tola.

On the sideline, silver has also gained Rs. 25 per tola. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,400 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,375 per tola.

The current price of gold in USD is $1,814.40 per ounce while silver is trading at $23.98 per ounce in the international market.
