Gold Spikes Up by Rs 1700 Per Tola Today to Trade at Rs 103,500; Silver Up by Rs 25

The price of gold has surged by Rs. 1700 in the domestic market today.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 103,500 per tola. Yesterday, the rate was maintained at Rs. 101,800 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 103,000 today. In contrast, the rate was maintained yesterday at Rs. 101,300 per tola.

On the sideline, silver has gained Rs. 25 per tola. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,245 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,220 per tola.

The current rate of gold in the international market has reached USD $1,868.10 while silver is being traded at $20.53 per ounce.
