Gold Prices Reach Record High On a Single Day After Gaining Rs.1000 Per Tola to Trade at Rs. 1,06,300 Per Tola
Gold prices make headlines once again as the value of gold hit an all-time high on January 24, 2023, i.e. today in the local market. The price of gold which was also fluctuating for the past week increased by Rs.1000/tola today. As of today, fine gold was traded at Rs.1,06,300/ tola while tejabi gold was traded at Rs.105800/ tola, as per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealer Association.
Earlier on March 9, 2022, the gold made a maximum rise in price which stood at Rs 105,500/ tola. Today gold is trading at Rs. 800 more than the previous record price.
Due to the increase of gold prices in the international markets, the ripple effects of the same have impacted the Nepalese market as well. As of Tuesday, gold was traded at 1,935.20/ ounce on the international markets.
On the other hand, the value of silver decreased by Rs.15/ tola and stood at Rs.1365/ tola today. Silver was traded at Rs. 1380/ tola on Monday.
