Gold price in Nepal again hit all time high; international investors eyes on gold as COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread
Gold prices again hit an all-time high in the Nepalese market today. The price of gold which was increased by Rs.700/tola yesterday again rises by Rs 400/tola today. As of today, fine gold was traded at Rs.91000/tola while tejabi gold was traded at Rs.90565/tola, as per the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealer Association.
Due to the increase of gold prices in the international markets and a rising dollar, the ripple effects of the same have impacted the Nepalese market as well. As of today, gold was traded at $1767.85/ounce on the international markets.
According to international market analysts, gold is getting a boost as investors start to question the health of the global economic recovery as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread.
The value of silver increased by Rs.10/tola and stood at Rs.950/tola today. Silver was traded at Rs.940/tola yesterday.
