Gold Gains Rs. 600 Per Tola in Nepalese Market Today; Silver Down By Rs 5

The price of gold has surged by Rs. 600 in the domestic market today.

According to the official website of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is being traded today at Rs. 109,800 per tola. Yesterday, the rate was maintained at Rs. 109,200 per tola. Meanwhile, Tejabi gold is being traded at Rs. 109,300 today. In contrast, the rate was maintained yesterday at Rs. 108,700 per tola.

On the sideline, silver has lost Rs. 5 per tola. The lustrous white metal is being traded in the local market today at Rs. 1,360 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,365 per tola.

The current rate of gold in the international market has reached USD $1,977.00 while silver is being traded at $23.41 per ounce.
