Global starts branchless banking in Kailali

KATHMANDU, MAR 06:
With the objective to provide banking service to rural people, Global IME Bank has started branchless service in Fulbari VDC of Kailali district. Issuing a press statement, the bank said its deputy CEO Janak Sharma Paudel announced the opening of the service at a program on Tuesday. The bank also organized a program to boost financial literacy of the locals. GLobal IME Bank operates with a network of 63 branches. It has customer base of more than 300,000.
