Global Money Week Impact: KSBBL's Outreach In Haldibari Rural Municipality

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank (KSBBL) recently concluded a financial literacy program as part of Global Money Week, held annually from March 22 to 28, to promote financial education, particularly among young adults.
The bank's initiative targeted small-scale entrepreneurs and cash crop farmers in Haldibari Rural Municipality, Jhapa, under the Global Money Week 2024 organized by Nepal Rastra Bank.
The event, chaired by Mr. Mohan Datta Khanal, head of the bank's Koshi region, and attended by Mr. Rabindra Prasad Lingden, chairman of Haldibari Rural Municipality, focused on creating capital from small funds, the importance of savings, and digital transactions.
Over 100 dignitaries from various cash products in Jhapa district participated. Lingden emphasized the significance of such programs for educating farmers about banking transactions. Currently, the bank offers advanced services through 135 networks, 77 ATMs, and branchless service centers.
