Global IME opens branch in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: 

Global IME Bank opened a new branch office in Suryabinayak of Bhaktapur on Monday. The new office was jointly inaugurated by Chandra Prasad Dhakal, chairman of the bank, and Jitendra Bahadur Bhandari, chief district officer of Bhaktapur, says a bank statement.

The new branch offers all regular banking services and any branch banking service (ABBS) as well. The bank is currently extending services with a network of 62 branch offices located in places as remote as Rukum and Rolpa. 

The branch has so far collected deposits of Rs 27 billion and extended Rs 21 billion in credit. The bank has a customer base of 255,000.
