Global IME Bank Wins “Best Bank Award 2025” from Global Finance Magazine
Global IME Bank Limited has been honored with the “Best Bank Award 2025” by Global Finance Magazine in a ceremony held in the United States. The award was presented to Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal and CEO Surendra Raj Regmi.
Recognized as Nepal’s Best Bank 2025, the accolade reflects the bank’s excellence in reliability, financial resource mobilization, customer-friendly innovation, strategic relationships, and credit rating performance.
This marks the second consecutive year the bank has received this recognition, having also been awarded in 2024.
Chairman Dhakal expressed gratitude to the Government of Nepal, regulatory authorities, shareholders, employees, and customers for their support.
Global IME Bank is the first Nepali bank to receive this prestigious global award, joining international institutions such as HSBC, State Bank of India, and China Construction Bank in 2025.
The bank operates nationwide across all 77 districts with over 1,000 service outlets, including branches, ATMs, branchless banking centers, and international representative offices. It also facilitates remittance services from multiple countries, reinforcing its commitment to innovative, timely, and customer-centric banking services.
