Global IME Bank to provide agro loan

The Global IME Bank Limited has started agro-loan programme, targeting farmers in mid, far-western regions.
The bank will distribute the agricultural loan of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 10 million through its branches in Baitadi, Dadeldhura, Dhangadhi, Lamki, Surkhet, Dang, Ghorahi, Tulsipur, Nepalgunj, and Pushpalal Branch in collaboration with KL Dugad Group.
The bank is distributing the loan with insurance facility for agro-business and had already provided it to some farmers in Banke and Bardiya districts.
Any farmer can take loan after signing an agreement with the bank and Dugar Group. The Dugar Group will purchase the agricultural products from farmers and will pay them through the Global IME Bank.
The group has already started the construction of a well-equipped store house at the cost of Rs. 105 million at Pipari of Banke district, said Proprietor of the Group, Kumud Dugad.
