Global IME Bank to extend subsidized loans to farmers of Karnali province; inks MoU with Agriculture Ministry

Global IME Bank has inked an agreement with Karnali Province Ministry of Agriculture to provide subsidized loans to the farmers of the province engaged in farming and livestock business.

The agreement was signed between Secretary of the Karnali Ministry Dr. Rajendra Prasad Gautam and Karnali Province head of the bank Mr. Bishnu Aryal amid a program.

With the latest agreement, the bank will extend loans with subsidized interest to the farmers of the province under the recommendation of the ministry, as per the media statement.

The bank currently provides its services to its customers from its 280 branches in 76 districts, 248 ATM terminals, 47 extension, and revenue collection counters, 257 branchless banking units, and 3 foreign relations offices under its network.
