Global IME Bank Marks 17th Anniversary with Scholarship Program for Underprivileged Female Students

Celebrating its 17th anniversary, Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility with the continuation of the scholarship program for female students. As part of the bank's corporate social responsibility, this initiative aims to support underprivileged girls in their educational journey.
Under the Global IME student scholarship program, the bank has granted scholarships to 35 diligent girls who have transitioned from class 6 to class 7 in various community and government schools. These scholarships will be provided annually until the completion of their studies up to class 12.
The bank's approach to the scholarship program involves selecting 5 deserving female students from each province, totaling 35 beneficiaries. Each student will receive a scholarship of 12,000 rupees per year. Notably, this program has already contributed to the educational advancement of 105 female students. GBIME emphasizes the pivotal role of education in societal development. By supporting female education, the bank believes it can elevate societal awareness and empower women financially.
