In commemoration of its 17th anniversary, Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by organizing a free health camp. The event took place in Chitwan's Bharatpur Metropolitan City Ward No. 8 at the Gauriganj Health Post.

Over 200 women availed themselves of the health check-up services provided during the camp. As part of a wider initiative, the bank is conducting one-day free women's health camps across all seven provinces in collaboration with the Nepal Family Planning Association.

The health camps, staffed by gynecologists, offer various services including women's health check-ups, cervical cancer (VIA) tests, uterine prolapse case treatments, and free medicine distribution. This concerted effort aims to identify early symptoms of cervical cancer, enabling timely intervention for affected individuals. Severe cervical cancer cases identified during the camps will undergo surgical treatment in the second phase of the Healthy Women Initiative Program.
