Global IME Bank makes stronger rural presence with 10 more BLB units; takes banking services to remotest of gaupalikas and nagarpalikas

Global IME Bank has brought into operation ten more branchless banking units at different districts of the nation.

The bank added new BLB units at Tarakhola Gaupalika-2 Argal of Baglung, Gaidakot Nagarpalika-3 Dhodeni of Nawalpur, Purchaidi Nagarpalika-5 Kuwakot of Baitadi, Jaimeni Nagarpalika-8 Arge Chisti of Baglung, Raghuganga Nagarpalika-1 Begkhola of Myagdi, Bagmati Gaupalika-6 Faparbari of Makwanpur, Rolpa Nagarpalika-3 Saatdobato of Rolpa, Lungre Gaupalika-3 Jutung Kholaa of Rolpa a nd Gangadev Gaupalika-1 Oat of Rolpa and Paribartan Gaupalika-6 Nafle of Rolpa.

The latest banking facilities were inaugurated amid locally organized events that were also attended by people representing different professions, political parties and civil society. With the latest expansion, the bank’s total number of BLB unit has reached 194 so far.

The bank currently has 149 branches, 30 extension and revenue collection counters, 150 ATM terminals, 194 branchless banking units and 3 foreign relation offices under its growing network.
