Global IME Bank launches 4 new FD and saving products targeting NRNs; interest yield upto 9.5%, minimum balance of USD 10K, online account opening and many more packages available

Global IME Bank has brought into operation four new products Global NRN FCY FD account, Global NRN FCY Saving account, Global NRN FCY Art FD and NRN FCY Art Saving account targeting the NRNs living in different corners of the world.

Customers can open NRN FCY FD and Saving account with minimum balance of USD 10K where one can receive upto 4% interest for the deposit while NRN FCY Art FD account that is opened in Nepali currency will have an interest yield of 9.5% and NRN FCY Art saving account will have 6% interest yield annually, as per the media statement.

The depositors can receive 50% discount in issuing credit card and while receiving lucker services while opening these accounts and can also receive special discount in service charge while receiving home and vehicle loans from the bank, as per the statement.

The FCY FD product will have a maturation period from 2 to 3 years and the accounts can also be opened via online channel, as further mentioned in the statement.

The bank currently has 145 branches, 30 revenue collection and extension counters, 188 branchless banking units, 148 ATM terminals, 3 foreign relation offices under its network.
