Global IME Bank kickstarts video call-based KYC update service; Nepalese outside the nation can also open bank accounts with few minutes of KYC process

Global IME Bank has launched a video-based KYC service VKYC where the customers can get their KYC verified via one video call taking just a few minutes.

Amid the challenging times, the bank has launched an innovative service to enable people from both inside and outside the country to open their bank account simply with a few clicks and a video call with the bank, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 289 branches in 77 districts, 270 ATM outlets, 275 branchless banking units and 52 extension and revenue counters and 3 foreign relations offices serving its customers.
