Global IME Bank inks MoU with Federation of tanker owners supplying petroleum products; to issue and renew bank guarantee letter needed for import of petroleum products from India
Global IME Bank has inked an agreement with Federation of Nepalese Petroleum Transport Association to provide and renew bank guarantee letters for the members of the federation for them to procure necessary entry permission to travel to Indian petroleum depos to fetch petroleum products.

The MoU was signed between Deputy CEO of the bank Mr. Surendra Raj Regmi and the chairman of the Federation Mr. Manoj Kumar Das amid a program.
With this agreement, the tanker owners can now receive and renew their performance bank guarantee letter from any branch of the bank, as per the media statement.
The bank currently provides its services to its customers from its 365 branches in 77 districts, 367 ATM outlets, 321 branchless banking units, 63 extension and revenue counters and 3 foreign relations offices across the nation.
