Global IME Bank inks MoU with Bhandara Dugdha Utpadak Sahakari Santha in Chitwan; to extend subsidized agro loan to farmers in the district

Global IME Bank has inked an agreement with Bhandara Dugdha Utpadak Sahakari Santha of Chitwan to help the rural dairy farmers to have better access to the banking credit facility.

 

The MoU was inked between Bagmati province DY. head of the bank Mr. Bidur Gyawali and chairman of the cooperative committee Mr. Dilli Prasad Thapalia, as per the media statement.

Following the agreement, the bank will provide a subsidized loan to the farmers around Chitwan to carry out agriculture work under the recommendation of the cooperative committee whereas the committee will also provide necessary training to the farmers, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has its reach with 22 lakh customers in 73 districts via 264 branches and, 240 ATM outlets, 244 branchless banking units, 47 extension counters, and 3 foreign relation offices under its network.
