Global IME Bank inks MoU of subsidize loan with NIDS; agrees to extend affordable loans to people belonging to different vulnerable groups

Global IME Bank has inked an agreement with Nepal Institution for Development Studies to extend subsidized credit to the people from targeted social categories and to promote financial literacy.

Following the understanding, the bank will now extend loans with subsidized interest to migrant returnees, dependent families of migrant Nepalese, trafficking survivors, and other vulnerable groups with the recommendation of NIDS for the entrepreneurial growth of these target groups, as per the media statement. 

The agreement was signed between the CEO of the bank Mr. Ratna Raj Bajracharya and ED of NIDS Mr.  Chiranjibi Baral amid a program.

The bank currently provides its services to its customers from its 280 branches in 76 districts, 250  ATM terminals, 47 extension, and revenue collection counters, 257 branchless banking units, and 3 foreign relations offices under its network.
