Global IME Bank Expands Reach With New Branchless Banking Service In Panchthar District

Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) in Panchthar District, Phidim Municipality, Ward No. 12, a new branchless banking service launched in Dairy Market on Monday.

The inauguration ceremony was conducted jointly by Deputy Mayor Radhakrishna Neupane, Kamal Prasad Chapagain (Chairman of Ward No. 12), and Dilip Pokharel (Assistant General Manager of the Bank). This initiative brings the bank's total branchless banking services to 275.

The branchless banking services allow residents in rural areas to access various banking services through local representatives, including opening deposit accounts, depositing and withdrawing funds, checking account balances, and making loan interest payments.

Global IME Bank is the first private-sector commercial bank with branches in every district of Nepal, boasting a network of over 1,100 service centers, including 355 branch offices, 378 ATMs, 275 branchless banking services, 64 extension and revenue collection counters, and 3 foreign representative offices. The bank, with the slogan 'The Bank for all,' has served more than 46 lakh customers.
