Global IME Bank Limited celebrated International Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Day with a special event marking the 25th edition of its weekly "Global Haat Bazaar." Organized at the bank’s Kamaladi branch in Kathmandu, the fair aimed to support MSME borrowers by providing them with a platform to market their goods. The event was held under the slogan “Entrepreneurial Production, Global IME’s Promotion.”

Chief Executive Officer Surendra Raj Regmi emphasized the crucial role of MSMEs in the national economy, noting that the Haat Bazaar helps boost their market access while supporting a green and sustainable economy. He added that the event fosters direct connections between producers and consumers and encourages the sale of organic, indigenous, and locally crafted products.

The bazaar featured over two dozen items, including pesticide-free produce, indigenous crops, locally-made handicrafts, and decorative plants. Global IME Bank has also implemented various customer-friendly schemes to support its clientele.

Recognized as Nepal’s Best Bank in 2024 by both Global Finance and Euromoney, the bank operates in all 77 districts of Nepal with over 1,000 service centers. It also provides international remittance services from numerous countries, further expanding its service network and customer reach.
