As part of its 17th-anniversary celebrations, Global IME Bank Limited has launched the "Meri Unilai Swastha Nari" initiative, a significant stride in the bank's commitment to corporate social responsibility. The initiative aims to promote women's health and well-being.
To kickstart the campaign, the bank is organizing a series of one-day free women's health camps across all seven provinces in collaboration with the Nepal Family Planning Association. This initiative aligns with the bank's dedication to improving the health of women in rural and semi-urban areas.
Gynecologists at these health camps will provide a range of gynecological services, including women's health check-ups, cervical cancer (VIA) tests, uterine prolapse case treatments, and free medicine distribution. The camps will play a crucial role in identifying early symptoms of cervical cancer, and severe cases will undergo surgical treatment in the subsequent phase of the Healthy Women Initiative program.
Global IME Bank has already conducted a successful health camp on the 4th of Poush at Dahkot Health Post in Gaumul Village, Bajura district, Sudurpaschim Province. Over 170 women received health examinations during the event. In the upcoming weeks, the bank is set to conduct health camps in various locations.
