Global IME Bank Announces Second AI/ML Hackathon to Drive Innovation in Digital Banking

Global IME Bank Limited is set to host the second edition of its AI/ML Hackathon from May 29–31, 2026, aiming to promote technology, innovation, and digital banking services. Open to students, startups, developers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and tech professionals, participants can submit their applications by May 4, 2026 through the bank’s website.

The hackathon will focus on innovative solutions such as autonomous credit and lending orchestration, agentic fraud detection, multilingual voice banking assistants, and AI-driven intrusion detection systems. Winners will receive cash prizes and collaboration opportunities with the bank. The initiative builds on the success of the first edition and seeks to encourage technology-driven financial services, enhance digital banking, and address emerging challenges.
