Global IME Bank and Bank of Kathmandu jointly organize walkathon events across the nation; spread out message of becoming biggest bank in the nation from Poush 25
Global IME Bank and Bank of Kathmandu have jointly organized walkathon events across the nation to mark the merger between these two banks. These banks will now function as Global IME Bank from Poush 25, 2079.
The walkathon events were also attended by the chairman of Global IME Bank Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal, directors of both banks, CEOs and more than 1000 employees of both banks who carried the placards and banners displaying the messaging on banking literacy, as per the media statement.
After the merger, the bank will have a total capital base of Rs 57 Arba, paid-up capital of Rs 35.77 Arba, deposits of more than 400 Arba and loans of more than 379 Arba.
The bank will have 365 branches, 367 ATM outlets, 286 branchless banking units, 61 extension counters, 3 foreign relation offices, and more than 40 lakh customers.
