German envoy meets FinMin

KATHMANDU, June 18 :

German ambassador to Nepal Frank Mike met with Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat at the latter´s office on Wednesday.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mike informed Minister Mahat that German investors were closely watching political developments in Nepal after the Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

German investors seek policy stability and democracy, Mike said in the meeting according to a statement issued on Wednesday.

He also informed that Germany will increase official development assistance (ODA) to Nepal from the coming year. Similarly, Minister Mahat urged Ambassador Mike to convey the message to investors in Germany that Nepal is improving its investment climate.
