GeoMate to Distribute Free GPS Devices in Long-Distance Night Buses for Enhanced Passenger Safety
GeoMate has introduced a plan to distribute free GPS devices in long-distance night buses to enhance passenger safety, particularly during busy travel times like the Dashain festival. The initiative will provide the GPS at no cost to 1,000 long-distance night buses on a "first come, first served" basis, according to company founder Aatish Gairhe.
The GeoMate GPS allows bus operators to track their buses in real-time, providing information on location, speed, and route. This tracking capability helps improve service efficiency, monitor fuel consumption, and ultimately enhance the travel experience for passengers. The goal is to ensure safer travel for millions of Nepalese returning to their families and villages during peak travel periods.
