Gemini Recycle Nepal Limited has begun the process of issuing an initial public offering (IPO). During its special general meeting in Morang, the company approved a plan to offer 1 million shares representing 20 percent of its total issue capital of NPR 500 million to the general public. It also set the promoter share price at NPR 190 per share, which includes a face value of NPR 100 plus an NPR 90 premium.

Currently recycling old batteries, metals, and plastics for export primarily to India, the company plans to introduce technology to recycle electric vehicle (EV) batteries within Nepal to address upcoming battery waste. Led by business figure Diwakar Rathi alongside board members Aakash Golchha and Wil Kishor Menyangbo, Gemini Recycle is backed by major institutional investors. The company also aims to partner with public and private sectors to run waste collection via a mobile app.
