Garima Bikas Bank Welcomes New CEO Amid Farewell Ceremony

Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) bid farewell to its outgoing Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Govinda Prasad Dhakal, and welcomed Mr. Madhav Prasad Upadhaya as the newly appointed CEO.

The special ceremony took place at Park Village Resort in Budhanilkanth, Kathmandu, on Saturday, 1st Baishakh 2081. The event was attended by officials from the Board of Directors, former presidents, fund supervisors of Garima Mutual Fund, and other key personnel from Bikas Bank and its subsidiary companies.

Mr. Dhakal, who served as CEO for 15 years, expressed gratitude for the opportunity, while Mr. Upadhaya vowed to prioritize institutional governance and compliance, aiming to elevate the bank's performance with a focus on providing excellent returns.

Bikas Bank Chairman, Shyam Prasad Basyal, acknowledged Dhakal's contributions and expressed optimism about the bank's future under Upadhyay's leadership.
