Garima Bikas Bank Appoints New CEO: Mr. Madhav Prasad Upadhaya

The 304th meeting of the Board of Directors of Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL), held on Wednesday, 14th Chaitra 2080, appointed Mr. Madhav Prasad Upadhaya as the Chief Executive Officer for a tenure of 4 years, effective from 1st Baisakh 2081.

Mr. Upadhaya, holding a master's degree in management, has been associated with Garima Bikas Bank Limited since its inception, serving as the company secretary for 15 years and as the deputy chief executive officer for 11 years.

Before his banking career, he worked in the teaching profession. The appointment comes as Mr. Govinda Prasad Dhakal, who served as the Chief Executive Officer for 15 years, reaches the end of his tenure by the end of Chaitra 2080.

Additionally, the meeting appointed Mr. Anil Regmi, Assistant Chief Executive Officer at Bikas Bank, as the Company Secretary of Bikas Bank, effective from 15th Chaitra 2080.
